Mediflow was founded almost 15 years ago in 1994. Since then, our Mediflow Waterbase pillow has earned a superior reputation in the health care community for its innovation and clinically proven results.

The Mediflow pillow was developed by Maurice Bard, Chief Executive Officer, Mediflow Inc., after he suffered from a whiplash injury. His treatment involved using a water bottle under a pillow. This became the prototype for the Mediflow pillow, the only cervical pillow with peer-reviewed published clinical proof of effectiveness.

Clinical sleep trials at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and at Logan College of Chiropractic showed that the Mediflow pillow is preferred over other cervical pillows and that it improves the quality of sleep. Scientific studies have linked enhanced quality of sleep with improved quality of life.

With the success of the Mediflow pillow, we expanded our product line in 1998 to include backrests. Our product line now includes an inflatable lumbar cushion, a comfort seat, and pillow protectors. Mediflow products are available through pharmacies, home healthcare stores, rehabilitation centres, and chiropractic offices.
